The Arbel Heights

Wayne Stiles' blog today stirred in me memories of my last visit to the Arbel Heights.  Known by many names, the site is best known for its prominence on the Galilean landscape and its panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee and the region (HaGalil).

I was unable to climb the heights this year.  I did make my way to the base of the Arbel on a walk through the Wadi Hammam.  I must say that I prefer the view from the top.

Hopefully, I can take in that view next year.  As my Arab friends say, "God willing!"
