Jerusalem's Lutheran Church

It is Sunday again in Jerusalem.   We are off to morning worship at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer with the Rambos.  This late 19th century church is built on the site of the Crusader Church of St. Mary and stands near the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Besides services in Arabic, English and German, the church provides a great overlook of the Old City from its bell tower. Also, the church opened its archaeological park beneath the sanctuary in 2012.  With its location, the park offers a stroll through 2000 years of history.

When next in Jerusalem, you should try all three offerings.  Worship, overlook and the history of Jerusalem!
