Living Stones Group Visits Mar Elias School in Ibillin

Principal Elias AG
We left the Galilee today for Jerusalem.  Our first stop was in Ibillin for a "living-stones" visit to Mar Elias School and and an audience with retired Archbishop Elias Chacour.  He is the founder of this remarkable school with both Muslim and Christian students.  The faculty is made up of Jews, Christians and Muslims.

While the group was disappointed that the Archbishop Chacour could not meet with the group, we heard the principal, Elias AG who often stands in for Abunu Chacour.  Elias passionately presented the course for peace in this land.  He challenged each of us to be peacemakers at home and abroad.

After the "living-stones" start to our day, we visited Mount Carmel, Sebaste in Samaria, and Jacob's Well.  Along the way through Samaria, we passed by Dothan and remembered the story of young Joseph and his brothers.
