Group from Casper and Denver Begin Their Living Stones Itinerary

Students from Casper (WY) and Denver (CO) began their program with a stop at Bethlehem Bible College.  Their itinerary is the "Living Stones."

After a tour of the college's facilities, the group settled in for a presentation by the Reverend Alex Awad, a United Methodist missionary.  He spoke to the group about the Palestinian Church, its ancient history, contemporary situation and future.

In addition, Awad outlined a Palestinian perspective on the present conflict in Israel and the territories and the way forward.  His lecture was concise and informative.

Later in the morning, the group visited other "living stones" at Hope Secondary School. The day also included visits to the Herodion and Shepherds' Field.
