Today is "Holocaust Remembrance Day" in Israel. The day seeks to give "a name" to each of the six million victims as does the Yad Vashem Memorial.
At 10:00 a. m. persons stopped wherever they were, bowed, and remembered. Streets and sidewalks grew strangely quiet as the seconds ticked way.
May we all join in the spirit of this remembrance. To the degree that we can, let us pray and work that such horrific acts will never happen again.
