Hope School Lives Up to Its Name

Brenda and I made our way to perhaps our favorite place in this land.  We did not explore an archaeological site, rather made a visit to some of the "living stones."  They are the students and teachers of Hope Secondary School in Beit Jala.

This remarkable school rests atop one of the highest points in the Bethlehem area.  The school is true to its name, offering hope to all around it or to any who come in contact with it.

One of our favorite classrooms to visit is the computer lab taught by Nicola (Nicholas).  The children are not only learning the ancient lessons of love, peace and hope but also acquiring skills in the latest technology.
