The King Is Alive

Today we made our way south to Beersheva, En Avdat, Avdat and Arad.  It was a day to remember the patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

However, our day began on a lighter note.  We stopped at the Elvis Inn near Abu Ghosh.  The restaurant and gas station is a shrine to Elvis Presley.  Indeed here, the king is alive through a collection of memorabilia.  Plus, the coffee hit the spot on a cold, rainy day.  A souvenir mug of the king was included for $5.

Mark celebrated the occasion with his interpretation of the king's moves.  Michael is a little more sedate.
