Exploring the Zealot Tunnels at the Herodion

Living Stones Group 

The "Living Stones" group took time from visiting mission sites to explore the Zealot Tunnels at the Herodion.  After climbing to the top of Herod's man-made mountain fortress and enjoying the panoramic view, some of the group decided to walk out the tunnels carved by the Zealots during two wars against Rome.

The group arrived in Israel on January 17 for a ten-day program.  They hail from Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa and California.
