Yet Another Set of Ancient Steps in Jerusalem

This week's featured steps rise from the Ophel area of Jerusalem up to Mount Zion.
At one point, the steps run past St. Peter's in Gallicantu, the traditional site of Jesus' holding cell and hearing before Caiaphas and a number of the leading men of Jerusalem.

Suggestions are that Jesus and the disciples walked these steps on numerous occasions, perhaps specifically on the evening that they finished their meal on Thursday of Holy Week and walked to Gethsemane.  The steps certainly served the area of two traditional sites for the Last Supper.

Do not miss these steps when you visit St. Peter's!  Many groups do, I am afraid.
