A New Beginning in Blogging!

Today is a day of new beginnings for this blog.  As with all such launches, I am excited.  I invite you to join me when you can.

The primary focus for my blogging will remain the land of the Bible.  But I will introduce other occasional topics suiting my interests and hopefully yours also. I will continue to post on Facebook, but I confess my attachment to blogging.

My desire today is to congratulate Dr. Monte Luker on his appointment as Academic Dean of the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies.  After investing five years in this position, I could not be more pleased with his selection.  Monte brings years of experience in the land to this position.

I consider Dr. Luker to be a creative teacher, appealing author, and a friend and colleague.  He will serve JCBS well.  You can follow his blog through the JCBS website or www.monteluker.com.

At this time, I am pleased to announce my continuing association with Jerusalem Center as an adjunct instructor.  My plans are to travel to the land every other year, next in 2016.  Dates are being considered now along with an expanded itinerary.
