Twentieth Season in the Holy Land

Brenda and I arrived at 2:00 P. M. local time for our twentieth season in the Holy Land. We are eager as ever to visit old friends and make new ones.  Every season is different for us. Of course, we are continuing to grow as well.

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, an old friend, Jack,  met us for the transport. Traveling with us was a new friend, Father Garrett from Washington, D. C.  He is a Franciscan and has taught groups in the land for thirty years.  Jack, by the way, is a local and an Armenian Christian.  The fifty-minute ride "up to Jerusalem" was filled with stories of past adventures and the latest local news.

After a lovely dinner at the Olive Tree Hotel, we welcomed the approaching night's rest. All in all, we have been upright for forty consecutive hours.

We thank God for safe travels and the promise of another season.  I hope that you will share some of our adventures through this blog.
