The Mount of Olives Overlooks Mount Moriah |
and Moriah and the Mount of Olives. Little wonder that the Psalmist found them to be an image of God's providence and care for Jerusalem. In Psalm 125:2, he wrote "as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people from this time on and forevermore."
Our McKendree students visited Mount Zion, site of the Upper Room, and the Mount of Olives, the pathway that Jesus took on Palm Sunday. The group walked the ancient pathway and stopped to behold the beauty of the City of Gold.
