Bethsaida Visit Is Personal for the Waldens

Pastor Kevin Walden at Bethsaida
Day four began at Bethsaida for our ABCOPAD and Mississippi students.  Pastor  Kevin proudly broke out his University of Nebraska-Omaha t-shirt and cap for the occasion.  Kevin and his wife, Melody, attended the university.

UNO is one of the founding members of the consortium excavating at Bethsaida.  In fact, the lead archaeologist, Dr. Rami Arav, teaches at UNO.

The Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies was also one of the founding members of the consortium.  Brenda and I excavated at Bethsaida early in our travels to the land.

For more information regarding Bethsaida, you can visit their website.  To explore the possibility of excavating at Bethsaida as a part of your Jerusalem Center program, you can contact me.
