Following worship at the East Jerusalem Baptist Church today, we spent the afternoon in Jericho with Pastor Alex and Brenda Awad and new friends, Kim and Edith of the Bruderhof.  We shared a delicious lunch of traditional salads, mixed grill and fresh fruit. 

Jericho was crowded today with its workers and visitors from across the area enjoying the holiday.  One rejoices in this economic activity.
