Homeward Bound!

Today we are homeward bound!  Our ten weeks in the land have been most rewarding.

The "high points" this season were the renewal of friendships, the teaching of four Jerusalem Center groups, the EO Lecture Series, and the Herod the Great Exhibit at the Israel Museum.

My highest privilege was to host and teach our granddaughter, Gabriella, on her first visit in the land.  She was an eager learner and a delight as a traveling companion.

With this blogpost, I will take a brief rest from blogging.  I will return to regular posting  after Holy Week.

I express gratitude to Dr. Jim Ridgway and the JCBS Board of Directors for another year of learning and teaching in the land.  I am privileged to serve in this position.

  1. Dear Willis,
Enjoyed the blog. I was in the Holy Land with Brenda and you in January 2011. Bonnie Jane and I did a familiarization tour with you and stayed for the extra week of study. It was most helpful and enjoyable. Then we led a group on a Holy Land Classic tour in Nov. 2011. I was hoping to get email contact with you to ask a question about our upcoming "Journey Through the Bible" tour in Nov. '13. My email is speterson@knology.net Thanks and blessings,
    Pastor Scott Peterson, Madison, AL
